anyone got any good locations to go practice in. any sort of environment really just dont want to be a bother to anyone really so i can stand there playing to figure out the effects everything has. If im out with the mrs she just tells me to hurry up and take the damn photo smile (i dont blame her)

but now ive got a photography buddy and both very much amateurs so just need somewhere to go play.

any suggestions gratefully received

High Force waterfall in upper Teesdale.
Hardraw Force waterfall near Hawes.
Malham Cove in the Dales.
Ribblehead viaduct.

So much landscape photo material up there, just get out there and have a look!

To add to Tony's suggestions, there's Staithes, Saltburn and Whitby on the coast that would give you loads of possibilities. Or York itself if you fancy some urban or architectural type stuff. Then there are all the hills in the dales plus the viaducts at Ribblehead and Dent.
