Greetings!

My M3 has been developing an irritating noise from the speaker(s), seemingly from the front passenger side. Only manifests when moving, worst when under acceleration. It sounds as though there's a loose wire which is contacting something causing it to short out, to my far from professional opinion. Car is equipped with H/K if that makes a difference. Has anyone experienced similar before, and therefore know of a fix?

cheers,
Steve

Thanks! If it was giving up internally, I'd have thought it would be like it all the time, rather than only in motion though? Or am I being overly optimistic it's 'just' a loose wire... hehe

might need to start working through the problem - can you remove the swap the speakers from left to right and vice versa? Can then see if it's the channel or the speaker. Might find the loose wire ;-)

I had an audio issue with mine - very different symptoms - but turned out to be the alternator giving up
