New telly box - what would YOU do.

55" OLED - what you gain in PQ will easily make up for what you lose in screen size.
Since getting my 65" OLED TV, I haven't watched any movies on my 120" projector screen. I thought I still would but, I always want to watch them on the TV because the image quality and viewing experience is so much better.

I have on old projector.... was thinking I could use both for differing 'duties' smaller telly for day-to-day, projector for film night... but what you've said may well simplify the lounge

I think that's about £1000 over budget ??
It'll be around £1500 if OP is prepared to wait a while. The previous gen 55B7 / 55C7 often was.65 C8 is currently around £3000 with LG offering £500 cash back bringing it to £2500 which again was where the 65B7 / 65C7 often was.
If OP can up his budget the 65B7 makes a very compelling case at £2200

Superb deal. Improvements from B7 to C8 are incremental/negligible. https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/oled-tv...

RSTV200 code will get you 65B7V for sub 2k if any help at all. I know it's budget creep but that's what I'd do my best to make work
We have a winner

Panel and picture processing are identical. What do you do for sounds?Edited by B17NNS on Wednesday 1st August 14:13
Some brands run Android which doesn't get favourable reviews.
LG runs Web OS with the magic remote. I find it a great interface.

Your only real decision is 55B7 or 65B7. They won't get any cheaper than this and stock will be dwindling.
