nissan x trail

Can anyone help? My Nissan x Trail is very hard to start and then when it does it cuts out.
I have changed the chain sensor, cleaned the MAF sensor, checked the fuel is getting to the injectors, checked the timing chain and put in new glow plugs.
Has anyone any suggestions or can anyone shine any light on what may be the problem?

If it’s pre 2008 suction valve on the pump is the first place to look with poor start / stalling
