F11 Ridculously high rear suspension

The air suspension on my 2012 F11 has pumped itself up to a maximum height and will not go down unless I physically disconnect the air feed pipes to the air springs, I have the warning light on telling me 'Cornering Ability Restricted'. So far I have changed the solenoid valve on the end of the compressor, but that only solved the problem for about 100 miles. Any ideas gratefully accepted.

is there a sensor which measures ride height?

The error message downloaded is indicating a failed EHC module, does anyone know where the EHC is located on a F11.
