I havent polished my car in a good 18 months. Thought id sort it out so spent ages on it last week with clay bar and DA polisher. Ive used Autoglym super resin but this seems to take an age to buff off which got me thinking what is the best product to use? The last wax i used was Simoniz which was a real b

Any recommendations for something easy to apply?

Generally speaking, wax and polish are two different things. Polish usually contains fillers and abrasives and is for tarting up bad paintwork.
Wax is for protecting paintwork once you're happy with the condition of it.
Glazes are somewhere in between. Autoglym SRP is somewhere between a polish and a glaze.
If you're used to SRP, use that, then apply a wax on top. If you're looking for an all in one product maybe try AM Glaze, either by hand or by machine (slowest setting, with a soft finishing pad).

After polishing i would recommend Colonise 915 wax, its a really great wax with excellent protection for over 3-6 months, just use a damp polish applicator pad and apply thinly in straight lines per panel, buff off after about 5-10 minutes. Do not use in the sun and use a fresh plush microfibre cloth to buff.
