New Porsche 991.2

Hello,

I have just looked at pictures of the new 911 991.2 on Autocar's website. Unfortunately I don't like it (not that it will matter). I think the front lights are too "flat" and oval. The rear is too high. The silhouette is starting to look like a Nissan 350Z. I used to love how my old 996 T & GT3 had the low tapered traditional rear. Maybe a 997 with Mezgar unit is a high-water mark of modern 911's.

The problem Porsche have with the traditional 911 features are scale and proportions when cars are getting bigger.

Not keen on it either but I think it will be a grower once you see it in the flesh.

Sorry I meant 912 not 991.2.

I’ve looked at the pictures again. The headlights look too far apart. One of the pictures the rear 3/4 picture looks like a Panamera because it is so tall.
