Yep.
The Corsa's get very sticky and hence throw up a lot more stones than SO3's
Armour fend does help, Scott's got some on his M400 and it's certainly protecting it there, but I doubt if it will last more than a year or so.
You can't notice is really from the outside, so I'm not bothered about it
I'll probably get some appropiatly coloured acrylic paint and run over it in the next few months when my inner arch is back to pure primer
It's much more "flexible" than normal paint and should solve it.

Have just done 300 miles in my M400 and lifted up the rear clam to find the inner wheel arch completely stone chipped. Is this common? Has anyone found a solution or is Armafend the way forward?
M400 rear wheel arches get chipped very badly as Justin says. I wish I'd put the Armourfend stuff on them; it should be a *must_have* on the option list.
I've got a bit of armorfend wrapping into my arches, but frankly its not that useful as the coverage isn't 100%, so there is an obvious line where it stops and you can just see primer
Its lasted fine over 2 years though, and my car has run a great variety of tyres, including Corsas before they became fashionable

Mine is a "very very special" one for a "very very special (needs) customer"
It's like any M12 - there are various things that you can change, and various things you can't.

I'm with Joust on this one (other than being 'Special Needs' -personally I did OK at school(!) - all anthractite bits replaced with coloureds giving an M400 4C (Colour Coded Classy & Cool) as opposed to an M400 AR (Anthracite & Racey).
My M400 was a beautiful metallic black just over 3000 miles (one month) ago, but then I suppose having used it on several track days it is nearly always up the ass of whatever is in front (not usually for long), but I suppose long enough for another blasting of grit.
As such the front end look like the sky at night with millions of white speckles showing though the black. And my M400 is loaded with stone guard (like a plastic film)
My advice would be buy a silver car and the chips won’t show so much. I knew this but time was of the essence and so I just had to have what was available NOW! (at the time)
The inner lip of the wheel arches first showed signs (COMPLETELY WHITE) then all along the bottom edge of the front spoiler, then EVERYWHERE forward facing. I even have chips on the leading edge of the rear wing.
DON’T BUY BLACK unless you have a paint shop! Otherwise its very nice.
Donington track day tomorrow will see off the last shred of the second set of Corsa’s and add a few million more stars.

Has anybody had a front clam resprayed then, how much?
Not me but am thinking about having just the centre section up to the inner crease resprayed myself as this seems to be where most of the chips come (and the paint people can match to this (means no messing around trying to respray the curved 3R light outlines).
