The spat with James Corden was cringe.
That was a one-off. Corden was a dick before then and remains so today.irocfan said:
not sure you can say several flops. After ST:TNG came DS9, which was excellent,
You missed out Voyager, which was also pretty good, but....irocfan said:
and then Enterprise, which did not perform in all honesty as the studio would have liked. Discovery was a slow burner but would appear to be gaining pace.
Discovery is awful - Star Trek in name only. Enterprise I thought was actually quite good, largely because it had an excellent cast but the writing was terrible towards the end.Edited by r11co on Sunday 5th August 13:28

Personally I love Discovery. It’s been a monumental hit too, and quite likely secured the future of Star Trek.
I have to admit i was very much in the grumpy "its not Star Trek" camp when it was first announced, but having watched it, it really did take off and i enjoyed it.Nice open mind for this next one.

It’s the only thing that can make this work now.ST:TNG in its previous form had run its course both on TV and Film and would not work today.
Re-imagined by the Discovery team and it could be great.
