Guys,

To give you a heads up, am in talks with a film production company who could come & film vmax, make sure there is high quality action footage of everyone's cars, a few sound bites, footage from the whole circuit.

They would then produce a film quality dvd.

What do you guys think?

Not too bothered if they want to put something together, but I won't be buying it. I'm there to pi$$ about in my car and have a chat with mates from PH.

A little concerned that having film cameras around again could lead to the sort of loitering/dicking about we had last time where we didn't really get started till 10.45.

cheers craig!!

I'll be bringing a camera + bullet cam to the next one anyway.

Don't really think it's worth paying a pro company to do this - it's really not that technical in terms of the filming, and in the end cars travelling very fast down a runway is always going to get a bit repetetive on the DVD...

You'd really have to look at filming the head to heads etc in a following car to amke it interesting.... or a helicopter....

I think it's hard to make a video at Brunters that will be really interesting, the sheer size of the runway means theres little perception of speed. Some good drifts would be worth capturing though!

ha, I'm thinking footage of launches, then from the bottom corner catching some drifts, some footage from the timing beams, some in car footage & footage of two cars coming past whilst in a rolling car, also footage from bends on way back. Part engine roar & tyre squeal & part music.

No music... always seems to ruin the vids

Leave it to the engines/ laughing/ tyres.
