Same thing when it comes to road car colours? The latter is referred to in relation to historical cars and the current F1 livery. Just curious as it's difficult to tell from photos.

Papaya is darker and metallic
McLaren orange is too flat and yellowy for me personally

They are supposed to be the same thing I believe. Mclaren orange is the modern incarnation of papaya orange (as found say on the F1 LM) which is/was a flat colour I think. the current MSO colour that has been widely offered is Papaya Spark which is metallic.

On a related note, where are all the McLaren Orange 12cs? Only been one on sale for the past two months.

Would certainly explain why I haven't seen it for sale in the past two months!

Where are they all? Seems to be an array of white and black 12cs and very little else.

I will be selling a McLaren Orange 12c at some point which will be getting replaced with another McLaren.

Its a very very clean lovely looking car, lots of carbon, warranty, the right wheels, 675 seats and has been super reliable apart from door latches and a minor coolant leak from a loose clamp/hose.

PM me if your interested.

You really need to be on the owners group on facebook to find the decent loved cars. A few orange ones on there.

Thanks Lee, apparently your settings don't permit private emails.

Can you join that group without being an owner?

PM me re your own car if you don't mind and I'll be able to reply.

McLaren Orange? Sure?

It looks darker....

I struggle with McLaren Orange, some times it looks yellowish, some times a proper dark orange.

What's the difference between Ventura and Papaya?
