I fancy a new stereo with dab radio ,hands free and a usb input for music .

Can Dab work in a TV R ? And if so can someone recommend a reliable easy to use system ?

The Aerial is the important bit, some people report a basic stick on windscreen one is fine but it all depends on signal strength in your area.
I’d go for this, i had a pioneer dab radio and it was far too complicated.

Have a look here too.

I fitted a Pioneer DEH-X8500DAB in my Cerb a few years ago. Has USB, Bluetooth, DAB (of course) and numerous other options. Only drawback is that it takes ages to get it just as you want it after disconnecting the battery! As above though, the aerial is key in poor reception areas.

That's going on my mgb . I would like a decent radio signal in the TV R after over 12 years of ownership.
Hands free would be nice too.

I reckon hands free would only work with the mic stuck in your gob the noise would just trounce out your voice , I really dont see the point of ICE in these cars scratchchin if I cant appreciate quality sound (too much background din) I cant be bothered headache maybe switch it on for traffic reports but thats about it, not getting old just my take on things

I've installed a basic Pioneer with BT, I've put the mic on the steering column, it works well (I've not tried at high speed with roof down).
And I can send the sound of the navigation apps on the phone to the speakers which is very convenient.
Else, listen music, well, in traffic jam eventually otherwise it's too noisy.

I have a Pioneer mvh-x580 and t works pretty well. I saw no point in a CD as most media is now digital so USB or bluetooth streaming is what I use most. I use one of these DAB Antenna which is ok but I think I need to mount it a little better as I had it in the B post but it's dropped down.

Hands free is connected to the sun visor and is ok at low speed but forget motorway speeds with the roof down.
