I've been umming and ahhing about the new A7 for a bit. The Audi dealer in Oldham called me today and they are clearly trying to get rid of some showroom stock before September. They offered me an A8 55 TFSI with loads of extras (B&O, power assisted doors, sunroof, HUD amongst others) with an £18k deposit contribution, and 0% APR, which made it about £500 a month with a £5k deposit on a 4 year PCP.

Seems like a pretty good deal for anyone who is in the market. Probably a bit too pricey for me right now, but I thought I'd share for anyone who is interested.

That's £28,500 for 4 years, about £7125 per year. Also 3 x 450 for road tax, and two services. One year out of warranty is also risky with car so full of electronics.

I’ve run a total of 6 A8’s over the years up to 300k miles and very little trouble with the electronics to be honest. Bit of wiring loom for the gearbox caused the most bother as Audi would only supply a gearbox unit at £5.5k plus fitting! A friendly gearbox specialist sorted it for £90.00 including vat!

You’re always going to be paying road tax and servicing on whatever vehicle you buy anyway.

On a big car like the A8, four years depcreciation could easily add up to £28500.

Email earlier offered an extra £500 special August additional deposit contribution. Desperation?

Big motors are out of favour, and the A8 isn't quite prestigious enough in the market place. Factory builds em, dealers flog em, at any cost because it's part of there contract.

Why are these deals always on cars like this, if they had this deal on a 740d, I’d be camping outside the dealership waiting for them to open the next morning
