Brake Master Cylinder is from a..?

Got a great local motor factors ohoning round trying to work out what the cylinder comes from.

Can anyone confirm its Ford?

Strange as its not a nice cast style one, and has a hole balnked off with a bleed nipple....

Can't remember if its Ford or Sherpa van.. they are only abot £50odd + vat from the TVR dealer network though IIRC.

Do you need a new one or can you recon the old one? a Clutch master cylinder repair kit is readily available too.

Urm.... not risking playing the seal game bearing in mind you need to dismantel half the car to get the thing out.. and ca't really test it proporly again until in a position to bleed the brakes..... ie car bolted back together.

My blessed daughter decided to wake me up with it actually..

..having only finished feeding her the stuff at just after 3am I was a bit gutted to have been dealing with it again only two hours later.

As for the wheels.. awaiting collective knowledge with anticipation

According to Austec the brake master cylinder is from a Fiesta Sport with an extra nipple!!

It does have an extra nipple........ ohhh mother behave

Does it have the extra nipple or have you had to modify it??
