Mirror door release wiring

Finally got round to removing the drivers door card earlier, to try and fix an intermittent problem with the drivers window and mirror controller. Managed to fix a couple of bad connections and tidy up the wiring. Everything seemed to be working, even the lighter socket which has never worked since I’ve had the car.

Happy that I’d finally fixed the problems I put it all back together only to find the door release switch has now stopped working. Suspect I might have dislodged something when reaching through the speaker hole to reattach the door card.

Hopefully I can fix this via the speaker without having to remove the door card again, but just wanted to check which colour wires go to the release switch on the mirror.

Thanks Steve,

Just checked this morning and there’s a couple of spade connectors just below the mirror. Looks like The one for the orange & white wire had separated whilst I was forcing my arm through the speaker hole to reach the furthest bolt on the door card.

Bit of a PITA as I can’t get to the connector without removing the door card again!
