Have a chat with Manning. Good guys. Had several cars with them over the years.
There are several insurers which cover what you're after tbh, just have a browse in the back of the Porsche Post.

Yeah you may have to fight it but ultimately it's your decision. They will try and take it to one of their own body shops but just keep arguing it. When someone went into the back of my old car it took 2 months before I ended up taking the car from their body shop to my chosen garage myself.

Get a decent insurer and pay the premium for the quality of cover.....it's not just about using an OPC it's making sure they use OEM parts if its not at an OPC etc etc.

These are expensive cars that are expensive to run! Good insurance is part of that.

Marsh Private Clients, used to be Porsche Insurance. Competitive prices and written into the policy documentation that repairs will be carried out at Official Porsche Centre.

Had to claim when my previous 987 got hit by someone (about 4 years ago). I was insured through Sainburys car insurance (still am). they were really good, (and have been for other things I have asked of them) all I had to say was I had to go to an approved Porsche repairer to comply with the warranty....the car was in for repair within a couple of days of the accident.

Very professional although I cannot testify to having ever claimed. Five track days also included provided they are ATDO (Assoc. Track Day Organizers)

I'm insured with Hastings, and my car is currently in for repair with the local OPC after it was hit whilst parked. I had to give up the courtesy car, but the OPC offered a Merc A class, and Porsche upgraded that to an E class after parts delays. They're also cheapest to insure with for a 987, and are quite well rated.
