Bit of a weird one.

I sold an item on Guntrader, to a bod who contacted me.

Bod said he's pay the asking price, and pay someone to collect the gun from me.

He asked if I'd forward money to the collector so I said I would from his funds.

A payment notification came from PayPal saying he'd sent twice the asking price plus £30.

Another mail came saying there's a temporary hold on my acccount and I'd to send
half the asking price plus the £30 fee to a Western Union 'shipping agent in Washington.

Now he's back saying it's PayPal's fault and repeating this, '...so i will advice you to follow the
paypal instructions vividly so that things can work out fine.' He previiously said he, '...works on the sea.'

The words 'high heaven' spring to mind.

If it walks like a duck.

It’s a scam for sure.

Yes, pretty standard fraud, I think. You’ll pay out then the payment you received will be reversed.

Strange that it’s for such a small amount, but S.O.P. Otherwise.

Thanks people,

He evidently thinks it's davhill d.o.b. 10/08/2018.

I just replied telling him to pay the agent himself if he still
wants the gun.

One more mail from him then it's block time.
