Repair 6 series logic 7 amp?
Discussion
Can any of you lovely people help? Long story, cut short. After a 2 week break, I took my 630 convertible out, and a couple of miles down the road hear a very high pitched squeal, then all audio gone. Go home and take a look in the boot and it’s slighly damp. So it turns out the roof drain holes which I thought i’d unbloked, obviously weren’t??. Removed all the interior panels to expose the amp, and it’s slightly moist( love that word). So my question is, can anyone recomended a very clever person/company that can repair a potentially water damaged citcuit board from these amplifiers?
Fingers crossed Paul.

If it been wet for a while I doubt it, lots of off corrosion.
Best bet is get the p/m off it and try BMW, scrap yard or ebay for crashed examples. I'd like to think its a module that is plug & play and likely common across BMWs of that age
That was what I presumed, it's sitting in a bowl of rice at the moment, but I don't think the old rice trick will work this time.
