BMI scales for the home?
Discussion
I got a set from Aldi https://www.aldi.co.uk/visage-grey-round-body-fat-... Does all I need from a set of bathroom scales i.e. weighs you but can also measure body fat percentage which is nice.
BMI is just an average measure of height/weight and can be quite misleading because in no way does it take into consideration anyones muscle build. BMI anything is a joke really!
The proper scales that measure your %fat are the way to go.... with the electrical signal measuring resistance. Fat conducts electricity better than Muscle so gives a 'correct' indicator of your body compostion....
Failing that, looking in the mirror will show if your ripped or just a bit of a lard arse!

We have Weight Watchers scales and Beurer scales, one for each bathroom. I weighed myself on both, one after the other to see the difference they'd give. Both gave exactly the same reading in not only my weight, but my body fat and muscle percentage. I thought that was quite good. Obviously the BMI was the same as it's a calculation taken from your weight and other parameters you provide.
I like them, even if the fat % isn't 100% accurate, it gives you a good idea, and it does let you know if you're gaining or losing body fat.

Basically, I'm a little over weight, and I'm strength training, so, it's a little difficult to know wether im gaining any muscle, and losing a little weight? If you get my drift
In which case, the mirror is the best option, and free assuming you have one.
Providing what you see in the mirror is improving, you're doing the right thing.
