Can anyone recommend somewhere i can take my D4 off-roading / green-laning etc?

Join the Discovery 3 and 4 Facebook group and join their Mudfest Part 3 event which I think is at Tixoer Quarry (Used by LR Experience).

Very open site so chances for scratching are minimal, but I have met felllow members who have just attached sticky back plastic to the entire side of the car on both sides.

Only £50, which is pretty cheap really.

I too have a D4 (in Essex) and I am too keen on preserving the paintwork, Ive been to Mudfest 1 and 2, certainly a great day out. Trip round the Rockingham LR Experience first (scratch free) and then for the afternoon. As said, just pick your routes to avoid scratchiness, pretty open. Sadly I can't make this time around.

We did some great lanes last weekend just South of Saffron Walden around Debden, was great fun and with the recent rain surprisingly boggy. However it was a bit scratchy in places biggrin
