Good afternoon, this is my first post in BB but a long time lurker.

I waited about 15 years to do my test (ex husband) but now I have and it is definitely one of the best things I've ever done! I've been riding a little over a year and my Blade is my second bike, after getting bored pretty quickly on my FZR600. I love everything about the Blade, I think it's a pretty girly bike!

So hopefully I will be a more regular poster on here now.

I've always had a bit of a thing for the double vents on the tailpiece.

Mega bikes, I still miss mine.

For what they are they seem to be commanding silly prices now, or at least people are asking silly prices. Great bike that I did everything from commuting, track days and touring and sometimes combining them all.

Enjoy, yours looks a peach!

I've always had a hankering after a mk1 FireBlade. Mostly because it came out when I was a teenager (showing my age). The newer ones are undoubtedly better bikes...but...I still want one.

Anyway, enjoy it.

Too big for me!

(But I still wouldn’t anyway, I only like black leathers) but they would suit the bike!

Good choice, looks like someone has already converted it to a 17" front.
Keep us posted how you get on. smile

No still on the 16 front! I haven’t tried the 17, but I do like the handling of the 16! When I need a new tyre I might try the 17!

I’ve only been riding a bit over a year but I have had some brilliant training (from oh with 30 years riding) and fast tracked into safe, fast B road riding!

And I absolutely love it!

That could easily be arranged, just happen to have a 1992 900 rrn in stealth black / bronze / blue which is excess to requirements.

Lovely bike. An RRT ‘blade was my first big bike back in 2001 and I absolutely loved it. In the all black and silver which you hardly ever see.

Please leave the 16” front, it’s one of the bikes defining features.
