At the minuet ive got a fn2 type r and i love it but i want more power .... for the money i would pump into it for 30-40bhp its not worth it 
I've been looking at wrx sti blobeye and a dc5 type r let me explain
I've been looking at two sti's one is 350bhp with a Andrew Forrest remap and a 3" exhaust and the other doesn't have much info but has a front mount , exhaust and possible a remap its from a dealer and they haven't added much info .
how reliable would a 350hp sti be ? and whats the maintenance like as well as petrol not that fusses btw.
and anything to look out for with the sti? the DC5 well because its more of a track focus car and the old k20 and its more exclusive than an ep3.

Heard the boxer engine can have head gasket issues early on, not too sure which engine specifically. I'd get them for that boxer rumble alone however, they sound amazing and have a distinctive sound that is immediately recognisable as a Subaru boxer when one is driven past.
