Folks,

I've a new job based in Edinburgh which means my daily commute from Glasgow is around 85 miles round trip per day. 95% of the journey will be motorway.

I've traditionally went for PCP deals, now due to the mileage I'll be doing per year I'll need to buy something - this is the dilemma, what should I buy?

Should I buy a nearly new executive car - Audi A5, BMW 4 Series, VW Passat? Which engine will serve me well - particularly worried about VED charges.

Thanks
Brian

between 20-25k ideally. However I'm open to stretching a bit for something worthwhile.

You'll be doing 20k+ per year so your mileage will mean depreciation will be your biggest enemy.

I bought one of these the after sales service has been great the car itself faultless (get the Ivory interior) I'm a Mercedes man & whilst certain parts are of course cheaper the whole package just works.

Or if you want a true exec saloon that's a good comfortable reliable steer then I'd go for the XF S in Portfolio form.

Or the XJ

These will have been through the worst of the depreciation so represent a decent option or there's the CLS 350 (I had to include at least one wink )
