2016 1-Series rear bumper question?!

As mentioned in this thread - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... - my wife had a low speed bump yesterday and has damaged/scraped the rear bumper on her 118i.

t happens, now we got to get it fixed!
My question is about the black section at the bottom of the M-sport kit [that houses the rear reflectors]. Can this be painted in the same way as the body coloured section above?
