ally or alloy window trims

My ally window trims have got what look like whitish corrosion marks on them, is there any way of cleaning them?

I'm with Big Al. on this one (Autoglym Metal Polish works well too).

The first time you do it, will be a complete pain in the @rse. It gets much easier the more regularly you do it.

finish it off with Silvo wadding ( in the blue and white tin ) it has a fluid in it that stops it oxidising so quick next time,,,,

Good tip - where will I find this 'Silvo Wadding' stuff?

is that silvo the stuff thats like brasso, only obviosly for silver stuff?

havent seen that for years.... happy memories sittin polishing my granny's horse brasses... cant wait for them to come back into fashion... not...

that's the stuff....I think you can get in Tescos of all places...but most hardware shops should stock it

also works a treat on the exhaust tailpipes...

Autoglym Metal Polish worked great on mine.

Try Leek.Its a light blue cream,also great on tail pipes.No elbow grease needed.It can be bought from Halfords. Norman
