Hi, I’ve got a second tv connected via an hdmi splitter watching on the same sky hd box. When I turn the tv on or change channels sometimes it turns the tv on in the other room. They are both Sony. Any ideas how I can change this would be much appreciated.

Are they fairly modern - do they have CEC? If they're running android they probably do - it'll be hidden away, probably in the power settings mode. Turn it off.

CEC gives their ability for connected devices to power each other on - so you don't need to turn on your TV, amp and BR player individually (for example)

Assuming they're running Android TV:

Setting->External Inputs->Bravia Sync Settings
Uncheck Auto devices off, and Auto TV on.

There is a setting in the sky box to turn off HDMI control.

Not sure if it is in the options, settings or hidden (not so hidden) dealer settings.

That will (should) stop it happening.

Had it with a clients house, went on holiday, came back all 4 tvs on! Sky and CEC update forced them all on!
