Booooo, I have a misfire on cylinder 10. Changing the coil makes no difference, or the plug. There is oil on the bottom of the coils.

Time for new rocker cover gaskets and probably an injector. I await the dry reaming my wallet will receive.

Plus the clonks from the front under acceleration/braking/full lock mean some bushes are fecked.

And the MMI display has died.

Wallet assault warning imminent. Time to sell it and buy an even more borktastic version in the RS6 clearly

I hope you are replacing all injectors not just one.

by the way Niki at Rtech can clean / refurb the injectors it may be worth trying that...

The extra c £1200 wasn't that attractive, normally I'd do it, but an unexpected contract gap approaching means I'd prefer to defer to later even when the cost is higher, perhaps as a planned carbon clean combo.

Just thinking if one injector fails it's very likely the others will follow suit.

And the last thing you want is a lean engine which WILL destroy it.

Totally understand though!

I had an injector go in mine. It was replaced under warranty (2nd hand dealer) so they only did the one. I drove it for another 2 years and never had any further failures.
