Testing soon to start.

News that Bautista is confirmed to WSBK next year.
Redding excluded from press conference.

I'm away racing at Anglesey so will have to murder my mobile data watching the race on my 6 inch screen...

Weather will/won't play ball, depending on your POV: https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2637827
I hope it pisses down - wet races always more interesting!

So. Lorenzo.

Can't ride a Ducati.
Can't win in a dogfight.
Can't ride in mixed conditions.

Still put the fker on pole laugh

I really can’t believe that only one person has a view on that qualifying session. Incredible stuff on a track that was lethal. Rins jumping off the bike at the end of Hangar Straight, as it just aquaplaned. Smith having a blinder in Q1 and Q2.

I fear for the future of of MotoGP is everyone’s given up because of how the championship is panning out this year.

Bonkers!

Did it feel bumpy when you rode it? Riders aren't very pleased with it, grippy though apparently.

I’ve been watching all day, been great!

As much as I like Marquez we need the Ducati’s to keep taking to him to keep it interesting. Lorenzo looks brilliant at the moment.

Cal looks like he’s going to give it everything tomorrow! There must be a better option for Bradley Smith than to be a test rider?

Bradders was on it, but he wither ran out of tyre or timed his last run badly on the drying track! In Q1 though, 4 seconds faster on first two laps! Impressive.
Rumour is Kalio is well fked up, and Pol may be worse than first thought. I wonder if KTM are thinking "er, WTF!".

Ducatis both looked good. Miller on the slicks at the end of Hanger straight....!! lol

A couple of bits of vital info if you are going tomorrow;
1. The MotoGP start has been moved back to 11:30 due to concerns about the weather
2. The Park And Ride has been moved from Towcester Race Course to Sixfields Stadium in Northhampton

See you there

I was on my road bike with road tyres, so wasn’t really pushing as hard as I would normally, plus I’d never been there before. It felt pretty smooth though, but I’m nowhere near their level. The F1 has been since amd they’re very good at creating new bumps into corners, especially with hot weather where the tarmac is soft.

Hmmmmm.... I was looking forward to wet race, but looking at the forecast, it could potentially be cancelled altogether if it pisses down as expected in the afternoon.
However, 11.30 works out great, as I can cook my Sunday roast on time!! They should make this a permanent fixture....

Hi,
I'm at the race tomorrow. Concerned about the car parks! Parked next to the circuit today at an official car park but it was in a field and traction wasn't brilliant after today's rain...

Are there any general Car parks that are hard standing (concrete/tarmac)? If so where abouts are they?

Thanks.

I've only just watched it. But missed the FP4 crash, sounded bad.

Factory Yamaha really quite embarrassing, over 3s off pole and 3s off the satellite Yamaha of Zarco. Miller took a risk with the slicks but with it wet at the end of the fastest straight it was always going to be a big gamble. Smith very impressive, Bautista back to usual form now his contract for next year has been signed.

Yes, it was absolute madness. I look forward to the the qualifying sessions more than the race now they often turn out to be far more exciting. It is a highly embarrassing situation for Silverstone and I can see the races being cancelled if the weather is as bad as predicted? Will they race on Monday if it is stopped?

The car parks by the main gates are tarmac, it you want to be in then probably best to be early
