It's a standard company car, so we're only liable for BIK based on list price and relevant tax rate.

Well, the first price I found for 20k per annum on a self maintained basis was £299 per month so yes that is very expensive.

Rather than agreeing a lease for 25k or 30k per annum, go for 20k and choose one with a low ppm as it will work out much cheaper.
