Is a Granturismo a "family-friendly" car?

I think it will be perfect for your needs - looks every inch an impractical sports car but practical as any large coupe.
When I was car shopping I actually dismissed it as being too practical, being someone who has no need for the space it seemed a waste not to get something properly silly. I’m 6’4 and had a friend sat behind me with no issues. Not sure what witchcraft they did to make it look so pretty yet so large inside.

Definitely fine internally but the boot is only mid-sized. Carries more than you expect but knowing the multitudes of stuff that a baby requires it would be worth checking you can get it all in. That said, if there is only three of you the second back seat can take a lot.
I regularly drive mine with three adult sized (my 13 year old is 5'7 already...) and a 9 year old, and no-one has ever said they don't have enough room.

Fantastic car, I have a GTS MC Shift. The noise is ridiculous. Draws a tonne of attention. Can't even pick your nose at a set of lights in a bit of peace.
I have a 4 year old who uses a booster seat and fits ion the back with plenty of room. Boot is also reasonable but don't expect to be able to put large suitcases into it.
When they do go wrong they can be very expensive however. My car is in with GVE London at the moment due to a coolant hose bursting/coming loose. To get to this particular hose the gearbox and bell housing needs removing. full days work. the job itself will be over a grand. It is also having a few other things done while in.
Front parking sensor failure - these cars must be wired like Christmas tree lights as it knocks out all of the parking assist not only on the front but also the rear of the car. HR Owen pr4ice for new parking sensor - £200 i paid £14.99 on ebay as it is the exact same sensor as fitted to a Skoda superb (disgraceful price difference).
Also wheel sensor failing causing ABS ASR etc etc fault messages on trip computer. That's a couple hundred to sort out.
Bulbs not staying on over rear number plate when lights switched on - wiring issue etc etc......
So yes, awesome cars, very practical with servicing prices reasonable if you use specialists and are a bit savy. however, they do have known issues and when they go wrong it can be expensive.

I have just bought a GranT this month and am loving the car. One of the criteria my wife and I looked for was boot space, and whilst it's not abundant it's more than enough to put two 'cabin bags' in with space for small items either side. With a baby you might struggle with paraphernalia or any form of carrier but if there's a spare seat you'll do fine.
The GranT is a garage buddy for our Bentley Conti GT and that was bought purely for the boot space which extends under the rear seats allowing four people a chance to carry sensible bags. We can put two large suitcases, two cabin bags with suit carriers on top before we even think about using the cabin. If you want to lose your driving licence in style whilst carrying a lot of baggage try the Bentley first.

Don’t worry about buggy room — I had a Stradale and now have a 911 and I can get Two buggies in a 911 and the Porsche has half the boot room of a Maserati. You just need to find the right buggies ! These days they fold smaller than briefcases. Maser is awesome. I crashed mine so be careful with the switching off the traction control. Otherwise great cars.

I got the measurements of the official luggage set and found luggage to approximately match which worked a charm.
Recently looked at the new Portofino, 911 GTS, a Vanquish and DB11 and the rear seats in those are a joke in comparison. Even if it’s just a baby seat, there is so much more space in the Maser.
