Hi Y'All!

For anyone wishing to give their Jago's another airing - we have another show coming up shortley at Capesthorne Hall, near Macclesfield Cheshire.

Its a one day event on Sunday May 22nd.

Set in beautiful surroundings, the show is well worth the trip and although manufacturers attend - is a cracker for the owners clubs as its all outdoors in the sunshine.

It has been successfully organised by the Rochdale Owners Club for over a decade now and details can be found following this link:
www.rochdale-owners-club.co.uk/events.htm

ENTRY:
FREE for kit/classic car and driver
FREE parking for non-kit cars
£4 for adults (over 16)*
£2.00 children (12-16 years)*

I spoke to their Show Coordinator Brian Easton yesterday. The show opens at 10AM and the basic rule of thumb is that the earlier you arrive - the more chance there is of parking together.

A possibility is meeting beforehand and travelling in convoy to the event - anyone interested in this please get in touch.

Hi Guys

In view of what Swizz said earlier regarding parking together and bearing in mind I am fetching the club banner shall we all aim to meet outside the venue at say 9.30?

One is somewhat perturbed by these postings regarding the use of the Queen's english on what is a top-ho spiffing wheeze of a website at least I now know why Pater bought me this knee-high Personal Computer contraption to plug in next to the shiny music disc gramophone in one's Ferrari, Rolls , Lambothingy (Gosh , never could spell that right , Nursey always wrote it for me)

Right Y'all.

Follow this link for a local map & directions.
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/swizzjnr/index/page26.html
There is a link off this page for a large scale atlas also showing all routes leading to Capesthorne Hall.

The directions & map show a garden centre & falconry centre carpark just north of the venue for anyone who wishes to rendezvous beforehand at around 9.30ish. The show opens at 10. The purpose of meeting beforehand is so we get a better chance of parking together at the show.

Either way i'll seeya there!

Back seat is in ready for Sunday , complete with lap belt to restrain young Master Tonka , judging by this evenings road test he will find it useful whilst hanging his camera phone out the side !

Mrs Tonka is coming too , so at her request the hood is already on (first time in months) , hair straighteners and Jagos dont really go together......!

Hopefully the weather will be kind to us , be good for my neighbours too , unlike the Stafford and Stoneleigh weekends they will get a lie-in as I wont be firing it up till 7.30 .......!

Hi Boys

Drseg asked for a northern translater - for Yorkshire men - Driftwood said "try living in Cornwall" in a previous post, Tonka described Gretna as the " far north" I am in Northumberland and I was speaking to Eskimo Nell only yesterday. Not much chance for the Scottish boys - seems to me that Yorkshire is almost the centre of the world. BUT - mind you - Haltwhistle, in Northumberland claims to be the centre of G.B.
I do wish we could all meet somewhere but after the hammering I got with hailstones last week - no long journeys in the open G.P.
God Bless
Logibear.

Hi Logi

Theres not much happening in mid/late July show wise I believe so I think that would be a good time to arrange a meet in North Yorkshire I'll sound a few people out over the next few weeks then fix a time and place.

Cheers

So anyone know what the forecast is for the Capesthorne area tomorrow ? its p*ssing it down here right now.

Just wondering if its t-shirt , shorts and shades or 3 jumpers and an anorak (mind you bound to find some of those amongst the various club stands even on a warm day..... )
