Does anyone know of any decent battery powered DA polishers out there?

I don't have easy access to power at my place to polish my car using a mains powered one, so wandered if a battery powered one could be an option?

I assume the battery wouldn't last long enough to make it worthwhile though? I could buy a large extension lead and do it that way but wouldn't be so convenient.

Also, I have never tried polishing my car with a machine before, so preferably one that is easy to use for beginners so i don't ruin the paint!

Flex introduced some cordless rotary and DA machines earlier in the year although not cheap at a bit under £600... I've seen some chaps using them parked up at shows.

Thanks for the info, I had seen this one when I was doing some googling and the price put me off, seems all the battery ones were pretty pricey.

I seen Meguiar's do a DA attachment for drills but its recommended to use mains powered drills for it, not sure how well a battery one would work.

In the end I just bought a powered Dino Kraftpaket one off Amazon for a fraction of the cost which seemed to get decent reviews for the cost, along with a 20 meter extension cable which should cover what I need, the polisher has a 5 meter cable already so should be plenty to run out my window over to the car park, hopefully get to test it this weekend depending on the weather as we have had some pretty bad lightning storms here last weekend!
