Land rover incontrol secure tracker

My insurance want this - apparently it's fitted as standard (2018 range rover sport)

So i have the LR Remote app set up...

Is that it - or is there some kind of subscription service i need to join?

Usually tracker services are paid monthly?

Just want to ensure i have done what the insurers would want - i believe its a cat 6 system?

Once you've logged into the site it will tell you on the first page on the RH side what you have and when it expires.

You need to log into the https://incontrol.landrover.com site (same username and password as for the mobile app).

You'll then see a link to 'InControl Secure'. If you click on this you'll then be able to download (or print to PDF) the Thatcham Certificate for your vehicle.

I did ask in the dealership but the young guy seemed pretty clueless worryingly...

Ok logged in, printed the certificate - all looks good.

On the certificate it reads:

• This Certificate is only valid with a current subscription payment – failure to maintain your subscription payments will result in your tracking service being suspended and this may invalidate your insurance.

However i don't recall paying for anything?
