Focus RS - Launch Control

Has anyone used it ?

When I tried it on my drive with it set, it rev'ed past 5K but the accelerator was not fully to the floor.

Is it any quicker than a manual launch ?

Doesn’t sound like it was set properly? Can’t remember what the limit is, don’t think it’s over 5k though, it bounces off it until you sidestep the clutch and hang on...... yes it’s quicker than trying to do it manually. Good fun! Wouldn’t do it at every traffic light though...

It will be quicker....but more importantly it will repeat the same result every time, whereas a manual launch will always vary.
As stated though, don't use it very often unless you want to be spending lots of money.

Well I did a few tests on a bit of private road and it sets the revs at 4500.

Results are impressive.

I used it on Saturday along Madiera Drive in Brighton and it worked really well.
