New R1

Went to an open day at a nearby dealer the other day and had a go on the new R1. Wow I think I know what I'm getting next. Anybody on here got one ??

No, but it's the only thing I'd consider chopping my blade in for. Look nice don't they? What's it like to ride?

IMO my blade is as ugly as sin but it's a fantastic bike.

Not got one, cant even ride (yet!) but that new R1 in the silver/dark grey colour scheme is one the the most beautiful vehicles I have ever seen.

That's exactly how my blade feels compared to my old zx6r.

I've got a 2001 R1 and I wouldn't part with it. Definitely the most usable bike I've had (what does that say about the others!?!).

Some thieving low-life nicked my steering damper the other day though. Worst of it was they also took the headstock locknut so had to ride 50 miles home thinking the front end was about to collapse

I was thinking about getting the new R1 but now I fancy the CBR600RR...but have to wait til March.
Definately the R1 stands out looks wise from the other sportsbikes at the moment, v. nice indeed..
Saw a Ducati 999 in London on Monday, a v unimpressive sound as it pootled past and I'm not sure if I like the look yet.
