Reverse light switch?

Any one know where it is? It's the MOT tomorrow, just thought I'd best check it all out & found the reverse light don't work (the ignition was on). I checked the bulbs & all the fuses but nothing. So I'm guessing it's the switch - is it in the gear box?

Looking forward its on the left of the gearbox, just press on connectors. It should have some heat reflector around it.

Best to jack the car up to see it, and then its still a pain!

Do you need reverse lights for the test?

Thanks again for your help Extra 300 Driver! I decided to turn off the PC & get under the car, so haven't been back on line till now.

The connectors had rusted away & come off, so it shouldn't have been hard to fix, but I had a very bad eye infection so could hardly see & the down pipes are right in the way, a real pain in more ways than one...

But I got there just in time, only to find you were also right to question their need - they told me I didn't need them for the test
