1 million locked up in Chinese Internment Camps.
Discussion
The U.S. Congressional-Executive Commission on China describes the detention of Uighurs in China as “the largest mass incarceration of a minority population in the world today.” Of course China denies the camps even exist.
First it was the Tibetans, now it’s the Uighars - who will be next?
One million Muslims are being held right now in Chinese internment camps, according to estimates cited by the UN and U.S. officials. Former inmates—most of whom are Uighurs, a largely Muslim ethnic minority—have told reporters that over the course of an indoctrination process lasting several months, they were forced to renounce Islam, criticize their own Islamic beliefs and those of fellow inmates, and recite Communist Party propaganda songs for hours each day. There are media reports of inmates being forced to eat pork and drink alcohol, which are forbidden to Muslims, as well as reports of torture and death.

An interesting way to describe things.

The top official in China's Xinjiang region has given the most detailed description yet of the alleged use of internment camps for Uighur Muslims.
In an interview with state media, Shohrat Zakir said the "vocational education" centres were proving effective in staving off terrorism.
He said "trainees" were grateful for the opportunity to change their ways and make their lives more "colourful".

Just out of interest - has china had many Islamic terrorist atrocities like we have in the west? (Genuine question)Beeb said:

whike its tragic and a worrying similarity to Nazi Germany fact is nothing will happen china will do what it likes even if such camps turn to murder. After all 1 million people to feed an cloth etc can't see them wanting to do that long term.
The objective does seem to be to wipe out all traces of that ethnic group

The sooner the new school bully gets a bloody nose in the playground the better. They've fecked over Tibet and they continue to feck over internals.
We all know who have proper governments in this world and who has not.
I don't like Trump very much but he might be having a Reagan type moment here and inadvertently pops Chinas bubble like Reagan did with USSR.
USA under trump is still 100x better than China under President Fuk Yu. Sorry, Xi.
The whole of china is built on a huge credit bubble, so much so they are hiding it. They are existing on markets and finance still feeding the whale.
The whale is dead, like the Norwegian blue, it just does not know it yet.

"If you do not wage jihad, you will never be able to get rid of the oppression of the infidels which makes you abandon the religion and which makes slaves of you. Thus, you will not be able to be rescued from the oppression of this world and the torments of the hereafter, or find eternal happiness until you return to the religion of Allah. . ." – Abdul Haq (Memetiming Memeti), a commander in the Uyghur separatist movement Turkistan Islamic Party (East Turkestan Islamic Movement), from a video released by TIP, February 9. 2009.
"We have to conquer our own country and purify it of all infidels. Then, we should conquer the infidels' countries and spread Islam. The infidels who are usurping our countries have announced war against Islam and Muslims, forcing Muslims to abandon Islam and change their beliefs." – Abdullah Mansour, current leader of the Uyghur separatist movement Turkistan Islamic Party (East Turkestan Islamic Movement), from "The Duty of Faith and Support," Voice of Islam/al-Fajr Media Center, August 26, 2009.
Are these more poor Muslims who have misunderstood the message.
America is taking the mickey here a bit.
They've got 2.2 million incarcerated of 350m. That's a high percentage if one considers the adult populatin.
China, 1.3 billion, has around 1.5 to 2.5 depending on which stats you go for.
It smacks of a very black pot calling a grey kettle black.

Incarceration in a public prison system for being convicted in a court of law for a crime, is rather different to being interred for 'adjustment'.They've got 2.2 million incarcerated of 350m. That's a high percentage if one considers the adult populatin.

The US legal system is a bit of a joke and their prison-industrial complex is a growing problem... But with China we're talking about people being imprisoned simply for saying the wrong thing, being a member of the wrong belief system or being born into the wrong group. Proper political prisoners.
Wasn't there that case of a Chinese film star disappearing a few months back, only to re-appear a few weeks later spouting the party line. Later claiming her absence was due to an underpaid tax bill. For all the flaws with the US system, the IRS doesn't disappear people.

Might not be this particular camp but I hear they're already harvesting organs from prisoners. They execute a prisoner but rather than aim for the heart, shoot to the left a bit and - wait for this - while the prisoner is dying, they send in the medics to cut out the organs. Medics do this because they don't want to say no and end up as prisoners themselves. I can't remember where I read or heard this (Radio 4?).Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
