You have a phobia; it may be thunder or cats or farts or Neil Chambers. Whatever.

Someone offers you £120 million to suffer your phobia for one minute.

What do you do?

Mrs O would not stand in a room full of spiders for one minute. Not even for millions of £. I hate spiders, but would do the same for a room full of notes. She asked me the same question, and I would not do this for any money whatsoever:-

Even with £millions sitting at the top, and knowing that the tower won't fall over, I hate heights and the thought of "unclipping" at any point gives me the screaming heebee jeebies. I suspect that, in 200 years time, someone would find me still clinging on to a rung; a wracked and scarred skeleton with my jaw bone still going yikes

As much as id like to say i would i wouldn't climb that tower, just watching it actually makes me feel sick.

Id be much more inclined to take on the rugby team as above and im not inclined to do those type of things hehe still 120m is 120m hehe

I think this would happen to me... I would HAVE to try, I'd attempt to MAKE myself do it... but I suspect that my entire body would simply stop functioning at some point along the way. Even the video made me hold on to the sofa tightly!

I expect climbing up isn't as bad as climbing back down

I am absolutely petrified of Playboy Bunnies and Penthouse Pets and any semi-naked young ladies, but for £120 million, I would try to tolerate being forced to remain with a few of them for a few hours or so.

I'll start saving up. wink

Do they go up there to twiddle with it a bit to improve reception or are they remaking a coax joint or something?

yesI have to climb the distillation columns at work occasionally, getting up is ok but I find my hands really hurt from gripping the ladder rungs on the way down. At least we have platforms every 20-30 feet so it's nothing like that radio mast but I am still really uncomfortable going up and delegate when ever I can. vomit

I could manage the ladder and inside sections, and maybe even that side ladder, but I hate climbing ‘backwards’ over those sections between ladders where you have a lip to climb over that is effectively behind you. Unpleasant.

But the top bit... no thanks !

Yes... and he only seemed to clip on when he stopped; very little protection. Not for me.

For me it's kind of academic as I don't know if I physically could even if the "cash" was waiting at the top.

Honestly, that video is appalling biggrin

So a gold button at the top you have o push to get the cash. And some kind of climbing veloceraptor set loose below you...

I smell a game show smile
