It's 2018 and universal good practise is to use strong unique passwords for every website you use.

I just realised my PistonHeads account uses an appalling password so wanted to change it.

The form doesn't appear to let you paste either the old or the new password, making it pretty difficult if you want to use a password generated by a password managers.

I presume this is intentional and done for "security" but flies in the face of just about all accepted good password practice i.e.

It was bad 4 years ago, if it's not my computer acting up it's unforgivable now.

Just flagging it on the off-chance anyone from Haymarket is reading as I presume the password change function applies to all of PistonHeads not just the forums.

I'm yet to find any password entry that will let me copy and paste a password?

Same here, why would PH be the exception?

If you plug it in the first time with and unknown error, C&P the same error into the verification box, next time you log in with your correct PW it won't work!

Most sites will let you paste a password into a password field.

With the prevalence of password managers the whole point is that you don't want to be typing "ztqRvqyxRMc2UhEkTTHw" twice if that's what your password manager has automatically generated.
