Hi all,

Wondering if someone could please shed some light on this, about to change my front BMW brake discs (e92) however upon taking the wheel off removing the calipers I can't see anywhere on the hub the retaining screw? Every youtube video on changing the brake discs has the screw there but not on mine either side so I'm at a loss, attached a picture before of my hub if that helps.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks.

That's how it should look? -

Is it not that little off-set hole at 11 o’clock? Drop the calipers and see if the disk is loose, may have had after market disks fitted maybe?

I think that's a spacer. Some people think they're a bit iffy, and you should declare them on your insurance as a mod.

"Hub cover"? confused

Looks like an after-market wheel spacer to me, to widen the track of the car.

looking at the thickness of the spacer, I hope you've got longer wheel bolts fitted too!

Also factor in early wheel bearing replacement with no-standard offset.
