I’m loving my F80 M3, but it’d be nice if it could hold a good chunk more luggage.

Are there any other cars that will handle similarly, have as good an engine (I think it’s a pretty special one) but fit more in?

Is a Panamera going to handle in the same way, or do I need to switch up to something like a Cayenne and accept that the handling must suffer?

Dynamically, this would be very very disappointing. A brick on sofa wheels.

C63 Estate, in standard form the new 4.0TT has proved more than a match for the M3 so this is the natural answer to your question.

Does the F80 M3 have the same 480 litres of boot space as the normal car? If so, you'll struggle to get much larger in a saloon i'd have thought so you'd be looking then at an estate car?

RS6 is indeed an estate

Doubt you'd class any bar the RS6 and the AMG mercs as having a "characterful" engine but all are good quick big load luggers - not quite the poise of the m3 you are used to perhaps?
