Just woken up over here to LABOUR 103, CON 12 and LIBS 7. Oh well. Anyway, what's going on in the latest copy of EVO? Any good? Running late for the airport and it's almost £10 here! Just want to make sure this one is worth the cash. Ta

Picked it up earlier today but havn't had a chance to read it. Articles on Porsche Carrera, Monara 6.0, Ultima. Also M6 review and articles on "twins" with Subaru forrester/Impreza, Dodge vipe/ram and Jag S type R and range rover sport. Plus Noble buying guide.

Looks alright, but i prefer more "down to earth" car reviews, but that's just me.

Cheers,
Rob.

Have you tried a copy of "Octane" yet? I bought a copy a few months ago and was impressed.

Also got the new Catehram CSR in their which they seem pretty impressed with - i think the journalist who writes the article has a R300 so is a good comparison

this months Evo is deffinitley worth the money. The articles on top speed are the stuff of dreams, especially the one about the Monaro in Austrailia.

This month's EVO is brilliant.

And it even has a brief interview with Joust in the Noble M12 buyer's guide article.

Buy it! If only to look at the studio picture taken of the Scaglietti's and M6's engine compartments....

Only had the chance to glance thrugh so far, but I think its safe to say that the journo taking the Caterham CSR for a run thought it was just about acceptable. Ok, he nearly soiled himself with delight would be closer to the mark. Interesting article with Gordon Murray (Mclaren F1 road car designer) too.

Well, got to the airport and headed straight for the mags. Naturally the section was titled "Adult & Motoring". Found a copy of EVO and it was the May edition with the Sagaris and the Speed 12 on the cover.

Am I really far behind?

Latest issue is the June 2005 one. Pictures of Carrera GT, Monaro and Ultima on the front. Already on the shelves in the UK.

Nice little name drop too in the 'where can I rag the arse off my car' page, should make getting a place on the next Vmax damn near impossible then...

There seems to be a lot of negativity on the forums tonight. Craig has made it clear that regular vmaxers (ie you) will get preference in the future...
