Who's the email from?

Is it just me or does it annoy you that when you receive an email from a company it comes up with their name in the inbox and not the company?



Drives me nuts! Is this just a gmail thing or do all email clients show the same info? For example, top of the list is Jess Moorehouse, now I know who she works for, but it would be nice if it said the company in that column!

An email client will show what the "Display Name" is set to by the sending email system.

The display name bears no relation to the email address.
