55 Volvo S60 163 D5

I bought this in early 2016 to stagger with my Saxo VTS for a comfy runaround. I owned the VTS 5 years till it's tragic demise random arsen attack killed it.. naturally i was gutted but you can't make any better of it. I'll share a couple of pics of it below. It was a great car but terrible at the same time but it did good in what it did best, being a prick on B roads, hah. but back to the Volvo. I never originally planned out to buy a Volvo i literally had zero interest in them but i wanted uncommon and different. This gem came up. 1 owner from new and all that jazzle so i snapped it up. I also never planned to fart about with it but the bug bit and it cost, heh but it's been worth it.

S60R front bumer

S60R Genuine 18" Pegasus alloys wrapped in PS4's in Merc Brilliant Silver. nom nom
Custom DPF back straight pipe
Carbon fibre splitter
Carbon fibre spoiler
Gel plates, led plate bulbs
10mm hubcentrics upfront, 15mm rear (purely for the look, k)
Ditched the spice boy chrome on the rear bumper too. Not my thing!

You could say it looks no different to a Black S60R and that i should've bought one. Absolutely not, they're nout but trouble, expensive to fix and i cover too many miles for the fuel economy so I've made my own. I'll keep the pics shortish as i've too many/

I gave it a deep clean and sorted the paintwork out with my DA6 to cut that short

Long dwindled post but meh. I do have more plans for it but that's how it stands atm.

The second S60 I've seen posted in Readers' Cars tonight. Looks really smart actually. I often look at modded up cars and think the original was better but this is a nice looking car.

I don't have a thread for my own S60 at present so I'm taking the opportunity of these threads to post a few cheeky picks of my own -





Only owned since June and I've spent a small fortune on basics such as a new alternator, cambelt etc. No plans to mod or tidy it up (wheels would like a refurb) but the previous owner did spend just short of 4 grand on improvements back in 2006!
