Hi All

I recently re entered Porsch ownership with a very clean 1999 911 C4 with 74 on the clock. During the recent really hot weather the front bumper started to show a few really large cracks in the paint on the front bumper which I just could not live with so took it to my friendly spray guy but when he removed it and rubbed it down he found large amounts of filler in places and some splits underneath.
I have found a couple of decent looking oem replacements on ebay but I am also being swayed by some after market offerings. I expect all the purists will say replace like for like and I am a big believer in stock appearance on a Porsche but thought I would throw it open on the forum to see what views/advice some of you may have!
All feedback appreciated (well polite anyway!)

Go for a stick on number plate once you’ve decided on the bumper style. I would but my bumper would need repainting first!

I suggest you keep it stock if you have no other bodywork changes. Bumpers, sills and wing really look best as a balanced package IMO.

A stick on plate highlights the proper shape

Stock bumper.

If you want to change anything add a ducktail.
