Mine is crap. It can't move the wipers when the screen is dry, and isn't much better when it's not. The windscreen spray is st as well so I think my next project will be to sort it out.

Is it possible to buy new internals for the motor so I could rebuild it myself? If not, is there a better more modern motor out there to replace it with? Has anyone done this? I'd happily bin the old one for a more efficient and powerful replacement and different wiring if it would offer a solid solution...

Also the washer jets - these, are woeful. Has anyone put some better system on? I could replace the water motor to increase pressure, but the jets aren't great either so something better would be preferable but I don't want any aftermarket ones sticking out of the bonnet...

Fit one of these, I did earlier this year and the difference is like night and day (all assuming the rest of the wiper rack and spindles are in good condition). A bit pricey and I did wonder at first how much it would improve but now I've used the car in the wet on several occasions I think it's well worthwhile.

There was another thread a while back covering this but can't find it at the moment

Good knowledge thanks mate - I did look at this but it seemed expensive and I wasn't sure if it would make much difference... Maybe worth exploring then

Bit of a fiddle to fit but a massive difference.
