I realise drifting isn't to everyone on here's taste, but lets be nice.

Now, I don't really like BMW's... But I'm trying to save for a mortgage and spend as much time on track as possible, so it was the sensible choice (saving money by buying a drift car? There's logic in there somewhere).
It's got an MB50B25 engine, so it's not the most spritely machine but with a mapped ECU & some bigger injectors, it has a bit more poke and a 7200RPM redline. Just need to bigger inlet manifold and it should be a bit more acceptable.
It's on coilovers, which I can only assume are off of ebay as they are crap. I'll hopefully get some BC's or similar swapped in at some point. Modified hubs provide great lock and a purple tag E46 steering rack. The lock is quite good fun, can fairly help you out when going a bit too far.
It also has a horrendously low mounted bride recliner that has seen better days. I've got a Recaro recliner waiting to go in, I just need to find some suitable adjustable rails as I want my girlfriend to be able to drive it and get her some practice with track driving/car control.
Currently it has a 3.14 diff (welded) fitted, which I struggled with on track, ran out of puff too quickly in second and doesn't quite have enough power to keep third gear lit up. So hopefully over winter I'll get a slightly different ratio diff which should help out. Maybe a 2.8 engine swap at some point but we shall see.
Not a huge amount more to say at the moment, there's only so many ways I can describe a 3 series
at the moment is has horrible ebay angel eye headlights which I cannot wait to throw in the bin and fit my standard lights, it also has a black bonnet and boot for... some reason? A bit irritating as the Sierrarot paint looks tremendous in the light, but with the aforementioned lights and black bits, it looks a bit 'bruv'.

Hopefully once I've a few niggles sorted I'll get it down to Driftland and enjoy it on a more technical course, going to try go for as long as I can without a hydro as I prefer the 'flow' of linking things up without it. Though it would come in handy!
