I’d like to have the inserts on my carbon bucket seats retrimmed with a classic houndstooth pattern.

Can anyone recommend a decent trimmer in the Hampshire area that won’t break the bank?

I’ve seen pre-made insert covers online for between £600 and £2000(!) which is more than I’d like to spend.

I need to stop watching Wheeler Dealers, it’s giving me all these expensive ideas!

Thanks in advance.

I can't help with the trimmer, but you can get the fabric here http://classiccarrestorationsurrey.co.uk/fabrics/p...

Thanks all so far, I should have said they’re folding buckets and 918 covers won’t fit (as there’s an additional foam piece to allow for folding!).

I think a retrimmers may be the only way to go?

Dave the Trimmer is very good. I'm not sure what he would charge for this though.

I know that the '2RS is supposed to be a bit of a rocket, but I didn't realise you drove the thing flat on your back looking upwards......................

I'd give Linus @ lsdesign a shout.
Think he's in Surrey.

These guys? http://www.designls.co.uk

Looks like they’ve done quite a bit of work on Porsches.

Will call them tomorrow, thanks for the tip.

Another recommendation for Designls. Linus’s craftsmanship is second to none.

I like this a lot. I’m now seriously considering getting the seats done in my family tartan idea

Oof, that looks rather lovely. Is there a thread anywhere on the changes you had made to the interior?
