Just SORN'd beastie, and this winter I WILL start the full refurb...... I've also just realised, that if I can get the body off here (in my garage), what's left will fit in the back of my recently acquired Volvo Estate biggrin

On the subject of my Volvo Estate, I have a thread running here... https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

I also posted on the new TVR still under wraps thread some days ago, but my God there's some touchy individuals on there.... still, I suppose if you put a five grand deposit on something that looks like a demented frog then you're probably a bit demented yourself scratchchin Ok, a bit unfair, but hey.... smile

Lastly, I'm looking to do more track days next year smile In the Volvo Estate cool It's big and red... be ready to move over biggrin

Chilli

Oh, and Al... love you man smile

And very lastly, God bless Mac, he could do with some proper good luck....

Bit early for SORN isn't it? going to be warmish again after the weekend. smile This month's VED has gone so get some use from it!

It was so mild last Autumn I was working outside replacing the wishbones / refurbing the wheels etc for long periods on mine in October / November. Probably be horrendous this year now I've said that. frown

Yet to resolve the mystery of the disappearing petrol leak, VED expired end of August, and a host of other excuses smile

Did you read Iain’s post re fuel leak. Pressure drops through standing which relaxes the hoses then when it’s pressurised again could leak until it’s stabilised which sounds plausible to me, he knows his stuff. What else could cause it?

Hi Al, yes I did read Iain's post... Car had only been standing (in garage) for about 10 days, I've left her much longer than that in the past but never had this issue before, and images of a pile of ashes by the roadside have now been burnt into my brain frown

I'm going to fire her up again this morning (pardon the pun).... I kinda hope it does leak again to confirm exactly where the leak is, although I sense all new fuel pipes/hoses etc is probably on the cards....

Yeah, you just loose trust, with these new fuels set to destroy hoses I’d be inclined to replace as much of it with hard lines and only the bits you can see and get at leave as rubber. Insulating or isolating a few pipes seems a much better idea than carrying on with loads of connections.

Make sure the insurance is up to date before you fire up the beast hehe
Remember yours is quite rare in all reality with the engine and intake mods etc.
It’s a cracker I know that. I really like the interior colours for example, dark moody car, fking ace wink
