How much off a used van (main dealer)

Looking at buying a used van from a main VW dealer. Van is up for 17k but the website has a Make an offer button so I'm guessing I can expect some kind of discount.

Having never purchased a van before what kind of discount would be available?

£500, £1000?

What's it worth as a trade in? I work from there.

If it's £10K then obviously overpriced. If £16.5K then it's a bargain.

You'll also need to know how long they've had it, if just yesterday then no discount likely. If 85 days then extremely likely.

More info' needed. Model, reg, spec, mileage etc
